Building of the Faculty of Pharmacy in the University of Coimbra
A SÁ MACHADO & FILHOS, S.A. has concluded the new building for the Faculty of Pharmacy in the University of Coimbra, allowing the new school year of 2008/2009 of the mentioned university course to be started in the new University Campus III, destined for Health Sciences.
In a work full of constructive peculiarities, to be pointed out are the outer facades continuously black as opposed to the white interior. This colour dichotomy applies to all the building’s details, elements and rooms.
Noteworthy is also the assembly of the all the facilities, offices and laboratories that, due to its dimension and unusual nature of the equipments, have dominated the final stage of the construction.
The high level of commitment, performance and technical know-how demonstrated by SÁ MACHADO & FILHOS, S.A., have made it possible to carry out this project with superior quality. The high complexity of this project demanded the reformulation of specific constructive aspects often originating elaborate transformation and preparation.
