| New home for the Aged, Center of Day, Service of Home Support and Grows Center of Prado |
| It was initiated in February of 2009 the construction of the Home of Aged, Center of Day, Service of Home Support and Grows Center of the Prado Village.
The future building is inserted in a zone of habitation and of social equipment in the proximities of river beach of Faial, in the interior of the urban perimeter of the Village of Prado, where it is located the field of football, the house of the people, the health centre, the community centre of the Red Cross and the police force.
The home of aged will have the capacity for 30 users, distributed for 12 double rooms and 6 individual rooms, all endowed with adapted privative sanitary installations for handicapped.
The day center, as the service of home support, will have a capacity for 10 users.
The day-care center will have a maximum capacity for 33 children, distributed for three groups: eight children of the 3 months until the acquisition of march, ten children since the acquisition of march until the 24 months, and fifteen children of the 24 to the 36 months.
The construction work will be executed during one year and half and the value of work goes up to the million and half euros. |
