| On the way of the internationalization of the Sá Machado for countries in Africa, as it is the example of Morocco, it was given one step more in the direction to take beyond the audacity that it has been demonstrated in the form of exceed the crisis that is being verified in the construction sector.
In fact, after the implantation in the African continent, Angola became the objective for the year 2009.
Such option is not only related with the increasing necessity of the Angolan market in what it respects the construction companies, wants for the typology of the construction that is being carried through in Angola.
Thus, and being the Sá Machado a company with roots in the construction of buildings and being this the market that starts to disclose prominent in this country, was opted for a prolongation of the internationalization.
The boarding to this market started in the past year of 2008, in which diverse contacts with potential customers had been started, having the receptivity of our company been sufficiently positive.
Thus, the decision was taken to create a company of Angolan right, with mayor participation of the Sá Machado SGPS, that would have as main objective to have the full beginning of activity in the first semester of 2009.
And in this context that Sá Machado Angola, S.A., obtained the emission of the Building permits ICC and EOP (8th Classe and higher in the Angolan system), thus making possible the development of the activity of civil construction in Angola. |
