| It has been finished at the end of the month of February of 2009 one more rehabilitation of a school building, this time in the Valley of tagus river.
It is an intervention in the interior spaces of the Intermediate school Dr. Manuel Fernandes, in Abrantes, a building of middle of the passed century, executed for a ecclesiastical community religious and acquired by the Portuguese State after the Revolution of April of 1974.
The construction is characterized for the widened spectrum of works of rehabilitation of the interior spaces, of which it can be detached the execution of a new canteen and refectory, with the acquisition of new hotel equipment; the execution of new laboratory spaces for sciences; the rehabilitation of the bar; magnifying and rehabilitation of the balneal of pupils, all the sanitary installations, sporting pavilion, amphitheatre, audience with capacity for 350 seated people, administrative zone, executive advice, all the classrooms and rooms of work.
All the electric installation, water supply and drainage system has been reviewed and modified in the necessary cases.
It has been modified the floors, paintings, interior and exterior windows and doors, applied new school equipment, in particular benches in laboratory making possible to equip the installations with all the conditions to reach the best teaching quality.
It was a complex work from the point of view of the conciliation with le school activity, considering that the lessons under no condition have been stopped.
The remodelling of the School Mr. Manuel Fernandes represents plus a landmark in the history of the Sá Machado & Filhos, S.A., that obtained to the eyes of the Owner of Workmanship and the proper School to improve the school conditions, contributing with modesty for the future in the nation. |
